Irish Under 14 Cup 2007-08 (Boys, Born
1993 or later) Cranny Pool, Leisureland, Galway February 23-24 2008 The
Irish Junior Men Under 14 Cup took place in Galway on the weekend of February
23-24. There was a high level of competition, with a number of talented
players figuring. Guinness were deserving winners and their Hungarian player Ferenc
Fazekas was named MVP. Well done to Guinness coach Philip Mooney, assistant
Pat Cowman and the lads. It’s good to see a new (old!) name on the Cup It’s also worth mentioning that all 4 provinces
were represented in the semi-finals for the first time ever at an Irish
Championship in the modern, tournament era. So well done also to Aidan and
Arjen from UCC for their sterling efforts.
